Data. Technology. Clear decisions.
Inceptics is a Queensland start-up building data platforms and decision support tools that make complex information useful.
Built around practical problems
Inceptics Pty Ltd is a Queensland start-up founded by Brian Collins. We work across data analytics, data engineering, data science, data platforms, digital decision support systems and applied AI. We bring these disciplines together to make complex information clearer and more useful through practical software and workflows.
Pairino is one of our projects: an Australian service marketplace in development, designed to help customers and independent providers arrange work through structured requests, quotes and bookings. We value clear reasoning, responsible data use, privacy and systems people can maintain.
Data, software and AI
Each project starts with a real problem and an agreed outcome. The right mix of analysis, engineering and software depends on the available data and the context.
Data Analysis and Business Intelligence
Explore and interpret data through analysis, reporting, dashboards and visualisation. We help communicate useful insights so organisations can make more informed decisions.
Data Engineering
Integrate data from different sources, build dependable pipelines, and transform information for use. Data quality and maintainable foundations support consistent reporting and analysis.
Data Science
Apply statistical analysis, analytical modelling and machine learning to investigate problems and identify patterns. Methods are selected according to the question, available data and practical context.
Data Platforms
Design and develop the foundations organisations need to collect, store, manage and use data effectively. The focus is on clear structures, reliable operation and future maintainability.
Digital Decision Support Systems
Bring relevant information, business rules and analytical outputs together in usable applications and workflows. These systems are designed to help people act on information within everyday work.
Artificial Intelligence
Explore practical AI applications that can support analysis, automate suitable tasks and improve how people interact with information. Each opportunity is considered with attention to privacy, transparency and appropriate human oversight.
Pairino — An Inceptics Project
An Australian service marketplace in development, designed to make it easier for customers and independent providers to arrange work.
A clearer way to arrange services
Pairino is an Australian service marketplace in development by Inceptics. Customers choose a supported service and send a guided request with the details providers need, including scope and preferred timing. Interested providers review the brief and set their own quote and offered appointment. Customers compare quotes and choose the one that suits them.
Built for customers and providers
Customers can compare provider offers and choose a quote and proposed appointment that suit them. Providers set their own prices and availability, review relevant invitations, prepare quotes and organise accepted jobs. Each side has a clear view of the decisions and next steps that matter to them. Pairino connects these roles in one workflow while leaving service and pricing decisions with people. Its current intake uses guided forms and explicit rules; AI does not set prices, determine requirements or decide provider eligibility.
A connected job record
Pairino is designed to carry a job from an accepted quote to completion without scattering the context. The booking connects the offered appointment, customer–provider messages, agreed changes, progress updates and completion details. Where supported, recurring work can continue within an ongoing booking relationship. Payment handling and reviews sit alongside the job record, helping both sides see what was agreed and what happened next. This connected history is intended to reduce ambiguity when work changes or a question needs to be resolved.
Privacy and accountable decisions
Pairino is being designed with controlled access to customer and job information, careful handling of private provider details, and a clear record of important actions. Administrative tools support evidence review, dispute handling and marketplace oversight using information connected to the relevant job. Guided forms and explicit validation rules make intake clearer and decisions easier to trace. The product remains in development, with these foundations being refined as the service takes shape.
